Exposition PITCH

FR Un de mes posters présent à l'exposition. Il s'agit du (faux) film "BRAIN BUG" auquel j'ai participé avec Laurent Prim. C'est quoi PITCH? Pour l’occasion, la scénographie de l’exposition transforme la Galerie des Rotondes en vidéoclub des années 1980, en se servant - pour les détourner - de certains moyens de promotion typiques de cette période. L’exposition, présente une sélection de films à travers un pitch de base ou des extraits de scénarios, leur univers graphique, le matériel promotionnel ou tout autre élément qui permette de comprendre, d’appréhender, de visualiser ledit film qu’on n’a pas vu. Et pour cause : les films introduits n’existent pas (encore) ! Le but? Mettre en valeur le travail de deux métiers qui interviennent très en amont d’un projet cinématographique : celui de scénariste et celui d’illustrateur.

EN ​Me and Laurent Prim are taking part to an exhibition called PITCH. We did the (false) movie called BRAIN BUG. What is PITCH? A video library of films that do not (yet) exist. On Thursday 15th February at 6pm, PITCH, an exhibition of films that do not (yet) exist, will be officially opened at the Rotondes in the presence of the illustrators and screenwriters who submitted their projects. During the opening, the winners of the contest at the base of the exhibition will be announced.For this occasion, the Rotondes will be transformed into a video library straight from the 1980s, using typical promotional tools and advertising elements from that time period. The exhibition presents a selection of films through their basic pitch or extracts from the screenplay, the graphic universe in which they evolve, promotional material or any other element that allows you to understand, grasp and imagine the movie without actually having seen it. And for good reason: the films introduced do not (yet) exist! The aim is to highlight the job done by two professions in cinema, that both intervene at a very early stage in a film project: that of the screenwriter and that of the illustrator.
